About Us: Our client is a dynamic and steadily growing local brokerage, known for its innovative processes and commitment to excellent client service. With the impending retirement of a valued team member from our Personal Lines team, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Broker. This role not only ensures the continuity of our Personal Lines business but also offers opportunities to upskill and expand your expertise in Commercial Lines.

The Role: As a Personal Lines Broker, you will be at the heart of our client service operations, responsible for:

  • Administering approximately 140 renewals and 50 new business quotes per month.
  • Providing exceptional service to existing clients while identifying opportunities to acquire new customers.
  • Retaining and growing the book of business through lead generation and upselling.
  • Processing home and motor policies, servicing new business, collecting premiums, and closing sales.
  • Handling claims queries and managing commercial vehicle and travel insurance enquiries.
  • Answering phone calls and processing payments over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance the quality of service for our Personal Lines clients.
  • Ensure smooth processing of renewals, new business, and claims.
  • Utilize your extensive experience with the Applied Relay system to ensure seamless operations.
  • Comply with CPC code and GDPR guidelines, meeting all deadlines effectively.

The Person: To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Significant experience in Personal Lines insurance and proficiency with the Applied Relay system.
  • Familiarity with CPC code and GDPR guidelines.
  • CIP qualification (preferred) or working towards it.
  • Strong organizational skills, diligence, and the ability to work independently.
  • A genuine interest in the broking profession and a proactive approach to client service.

The Team: You will join a dedicated team of two in Personal Lines, working alongside seasoned professionals with over 20 years of experience. You will also collaborate with our Commercial team, with opportunities for cross-training and professional growth.

The Package:

  • Base Salary: €45-50k
  • Commission
  • Exam fees paid
  • Death in Service (4X Salary)
