About the Role
We are seeking a Compliance & Data Insights Manager to join our growing compliance team. This is a hybrid role, blending compliance oversight with data science and analytics. You will play a central part in ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, while also leveraging data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities that shape our business strategy.
This role is designed for professionals who thrive at the intersection of regulation, technology, and data – bringing supervisory oversight, strong communication skills, and a forward-looking approach to compliance in a digital-first insurance environment.
Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Oversight
-
Supervise compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Ensure adherence to Solvency II, CBI regulations, Insurance Recovery Directive, and local consumer protection requirements.

Act as a point of contact with regulators, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Data & Risk Insights
-
Collect, analyse, and interpret partner and market data.

Identify complaint trends, hotspots, and emerging risks to inform board-level decision-making.

Collaborate with the data teams in Dublin and other offices to build usable compliance data platforms.

Technology & AI Integration
-
Oversee AI-driven compliance monitoring, testing, and reporting tools.

Focus on supervision and interpretation, ensuring AI outputs align with regulatory and business needs.

Support the roll-out of new modular insurance technology (2026 project).

Partner & Stakeholder Engagement

Manage relationships with distribution partners.

Provide compliance input to product design, portfolio reviews, and customer value initiatives.

Work cross-functionally with risk, data, and product teams.

Behavioural & Market Insight

Incorporate behavioural science perspectives into compliance and product oversight.

Anticipate regulatory expectations on customer value and changing consumer behaviours.

Team & Capability Development

Contribute to the expansion of the compliance team.

Mentor junior staff, promoting upskilling in data science and compliance.

Drive a culture of adaptability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience
-
Background in compliance, risk management, or auditing, ideally within financial services or insurance.

Strong data analytics skills (Python, R, SQL, or equivalent), with the ability to interpret and present findings.

Demonstrated supervisory or oversight experience.

Skills & Competencies

Multilingual capability (European languages highly desirable).

Strong interpersonal skills for partner and regulator engagement.

Ability to simplify complex regulatory or data-driven insights for senior stakeholders.

Understanding of behavioural science or customer behaviour trends an advantage.
