About Us: Join a prestigious Commercial Broker in Dublin, recognized for our industry leadership and innovative approach. We are seeking a driven and dynamic Commercial Account Director to manage an existing portfolio valued at approximately €800k in income, following a recent promotion within our team.

The Role: As our new Commercial Account Director, you will immerse yourself in managing and growing an existing book of business. Within the first year, you will have solidified your role and will collaborate closely with the Regional Director to plan your next career steps and succession strategies. You will engage with high-level projects, gaining exposure to the Executive Management Team, CEO, and Finance Team. Your focus will be on acquiring large corporate new business accounts, targeting Ireland’s major PLCs and top companies. With the support of an Account Executive, you will handle renewals, negotiations, and manage key insurer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and manage an existing book of business worth €800k in income.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director and Executive Management Team on strategic projects.
  • Engage with large corporate accounts, targeting Ireland’s top companies.
  • Oversee renewals and client negotiations with the support of an Account Executive.
  • Develop and maintain strong insurer relationships and manage debtors.

About You: You possess a deep understanding of the insurance market and excel in client presentations. You are eager to learn, highly motivated, and ready to take on challenges. While the Regional Director will provide introductions and support, you will set client strategies and business standards, demonstrating strong leadership and customer management ethics. You thrive under pressure, work well in a team, and are adept at sharing knowledge and mentoring others.

The Team: You will join a high-performing team of ten, including five Account Directors and five Account Executives. Our Regional Director fosters an elite work environment, promoting excellence and high performance.

The Package:

  • Competitive base salary of €80-85k
  • Company Bonus of 10% (paid in January)
  • 15% new business bonus
